0025 Low Expectations
Tanuki Nuki’s magical powers are kind of erratic, and sometimes happen in ways she would have no way of knowing about, like influencing her buddy Pan over a long distance. She’s better than she thinks she is. I know plenty of people who have great talents that they totally underestimate.

Two things verbal threw me today…when Nuki says “my kind” I thought she was talking about raccoons! Took me a while to figure that one out. The other was when she says she practiced for Grandfather’s sake…now, after having figured out the first one, I read this as playing for his good stash of drinks!
I think I need to lay off the cough syrup for a while…srsly…

You read that first one right- Nuki is a Tanuki, which is a real animal. Her kind is said to have magical powers related to attracting customers to businesses. The second one…I’m not sure I can help you there ^_^
